The West Virginia Independent Pharmacy Association (WVIPA) is dedicated to promoting and educating the public on the vital role that independent pharmacies play in healthcare administration within the state. By emphasizing the importance of a robust independent pharmacy network, we actively lobby legislators and address regulatory and administrative issues to safeguard and enhance the profession.
Established in 2016, the WVIPA was formed to provide a unified voice for independent pharmacies in public policy discussions. We are committed to advocating for the interests of independent pharmacies and ensuring they remain a critical component of quality healthcare delivery in West Virginia.
With an aggressive political agenda, the WVIPA works tirelessly to protect independent pharmacies. We educate state legislators, leaders, and the public on the significance of independent pharmacies, highlighting their essential contributions to the community’s health and well-being.
If you are an independent pharmacy owner, joining the WVIPA is crucial. Together, we can fight back against challenges and ensure our voices are heard. By becoming a member, you join a network of supporting pharmacies united in our mission. See a list of our supporting pharmacies and learn how you can get involved.
